I understand that coming to therapy for the first time can be an anxiety provoking experience.  Here are a few things you can do to prepare for your first visit and what you can expect on the day of your appointment.

Prior to Your First Appointment

During the initial phone consultation, you will provide me with any insurance coverage you want to use for your therapy visits. I will verify your insurance benefits and follow up with you regarding the details of your coverage for mental health services including your copay amount. Clients are billed at the end of a calendar month, with the expectation that payment is received by the 15th of the following month.  Cash, check, and all major debit/credit cards are accepted.

Have your initial paperwork printed and completed before arriving for the first appointment and bring them with you to the appointment. We will discuss confidentiality, fees, and scheduling during the first appointment. Here are the forms you will need to complete:

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of your session.
